Chapel Hill Massage Collective is a joint collaboration of therapists who share a common goal of providing quality, inclusive and safe holistic care for people in our community.  Our services are provided by North Carolina Licensed Massage Therapists and other certified providers.

We operate our collaboration differently than most of the private practices in the area.  At CMHC there is no single “owner”; instead  we are similar to a cooperative, our members/owners each get a voice in how the collective is run.  
We strive for autonomy,  independence, cooperation, and shared equality. In effect, the amount of time, stress and space management is shared, so the collective runs smoothly and everyone thrives. 

This collective has no “I” , it's “we”. The point is to be fair, transparent and team structured.

With this structure, there will still be a manager, but everyone will be responsible for their own rent payment, and business. You will not be an independent contractor, but a sole proprietor in your own  business.
